What is the black soot on the outside after doing a first burn? The paint? What should I use to clean it off?
I did a trial run on my new two dog last night. I've seen one should burn the paint in, and indeed it smoked for a few minutes with an acrid odour and the exterior turned cloudy black on most of the stove. Now the stove exterior has a thick coating of soot-like deposit. I'm just wondering what one ought to clean this with? Is it the paint?
